ALLAN
INDUSTRIES utilizes a special weighted floor machine designed specifically for
stone restoration. This process starts with diamond-cutting discs, which cut
the surfaces of the marble. This disc is used with water to hone the floor to
remove any lippage and rough scratches. We then pick up all the slurry produced
from this procedure with a wet-dry vacuum. The above procedure will be repeated
5 more times, each time we will use a finer grade honing disc, and each step
results in the floor becoming smoother and smoother, preparing it for the final
polishing step.
This rehoning
process will restore the floor to its original appearance.
After completing the honing process, we then use a
special polishing compound to polish the marble to a brilliant shine. The
finished process results in the marble floor having the original factory
